Configuring Redis-Sentinel on Debian: A Step-by-Step Guide

Install Redis on Debian

1.Update Debian System Packages

Copysudo apt update

2.Install Required Packages

Copysudo apt install software-properties-common apt-transport-https curl ca-certificates -y

3.Install Redis with APT Debian Repository

Copysudo apt install redis redis-server redis-tools redis-sentinel

4.Activate the redis-sentinel service to start on boot

Copysudo systemctl enable redis-server --now

Firewall

Open the Redis ports in firewall

Copytcp dport { 6379, 26379 } accept;
